Trust me, PS3 or Rev. are going to win this simply because 360 will PHAIL!

But in all seriousness, historically, the first system out the door does fail. There are only 2 noteable exceptions to this that I can think of. But aside from that, Microsoft has too many other things that they are worried about to fully focus their efforts on making a truly GREAT system.

Why will Xbox 360 fail?
-Crappiest launch in the history of gaming
-Expensive $400 price tag
-Disc size not big enough for Japanese FMV-crazies
-Selective backwards compatibility
-Crazy rich bald guy advertising it

Why will PS3 fail?
-Shoddy Sony quality control
-Expensive $500+ price tag
-Blu-Ray included
-Unable to play rented or borrowed games
-Required to buy all your games all over if your console dies
-Controller is a miniature boomerang
-Ken Kutagari is advertising it
-Developers are jumping ship, claiming it's "too difficult" to develop for PS3
-No PS1/PS2 memory cards
-No PS1/PS2 controllers
-Sony will strip away crucial PS1/PS2 hardware again, rendering more of your past-gen games useless
-Sony wants us to work two jobs to get the PS3
-....

Okay, I'm done. I can't take it anymore...

And with good reason, I would think. First off, it's a system that didn't start off in their country (ANOTHER reason it'll fail), and second, they see Bill Gates as the Third and Final Antichrist.
