First rule, don't mindlessly bash Bush.  I really fucking hate that guy, but unless you have something important to say, we don't need another god damn "can't remember his name".

What do you all think would happen if North Korea, who now possesses nuclear capability, declared war on the US and deployed it's weapons? Would the US have time to respond in defence from the attack, or..... Your thoughts?

Korea wouldn't risk it.  Relations with China have bee pretty rocky rescently.  If they went into a full out conflict, China would probebly retaliate against Korea for its insubordination.  But then again, I might just be full of shit.  Who knows, but thats my view.

Now nukes are bad, and if they nuke anywere nobody wins.
But seriosuly, North Korea is such a small country, pretty much surronded by allies of ours. They could do serious damagae to Hawaii or California though before we could defeat them.

I don't think its an issue of whether America can fight them or not.  I think its more of an issue on what China's response would be.

a male dominant country, by far.



To me, a country that can lose 30,000 soldiers and it'd be such a small impact on the main army....... That fact scares me a little.....

Plus the whole worlds. Korea wouldn't have many supporters, think about it.
If they have enough balls to nuke the most powerfulest country on Earth what stops them from doing it to anyone else?
Even if countrys do back Korea, Korea will probably get some kind of super ego and attack their allies sooner or later.

The threat China poses is much greater than any threat Korea does.  What we need to do ALOT more of, is working on relations with China.  Korea could blast us, but without China's orders, China would probebly flatten Korea within 24 hrs.

Fixed. China possess more military power than ANY, reapeat, ANY, country in the world. The US may have enough weapons to blow this whole planet up 3 times over, but China has soldiers to do the impossible.... Conquer Russia without using massive destruction...

The reason Napoleon failed to take Russia is because Russia used a Scorched Earth policy, bruning all the lands ahead of Napoleon, to make sure he could salvage nothing from it, and wear out his troops, THEN fight him back, when he has lost many more soldiers.

Hitler failed to overtake Russia because mainly of lack of man power. I think. I know less on Hitler than I do Napoleon.



But China..... htey can lose 50,000 soldiers and just shrug that off..... That spooks me..... That's just.... astronomical power....

Doesn't matter on how many soliders you have, matters on how you use them and if they know how to fight. You never know how a war will be until it starts and the moves are played.
Although, if China ended up being very good tactics wise... x:

Noone would really stand for China's shit though, mabye a few countrys, but not a lot.If Russia were taken over by China almost all of Europe would try and stop them, I would think. The whole American continent wouldn't stand a chance if the USA wasn't in commission, and noone would dare join against the USA  in the American continent.
Most of Asia hates each other, Japan would be more than happy to fight the Chinese...
Seriously, unless someone acts like a total dumbass, I don't think anything is going to happen for a while...
