One of the first to hit home consoles. Soul Caliber was awesome. Not only that, Heihachi from Tekken, Link, and Spawn guest starred in that game!!!

Who all sucked, but yeah. One of the best 3D engines fora fighting game. The 8-way run allows you to actually be moving in 3D with ease; unliek Tekken where it stays on a 2D view in which you can move around. It just doesn't feel the same as Soul Calibur. Granted there's still a lot of problems with the engine, it's still a great game and hopefully will be polished up a lot more with the next installment.

Lots of great stuff, like better grab break system, better OTG system, a few more characters.

Brokenxinfinity. Once he gets inside there's just no stopping him. He's strong and can do juggle damage near the equivilant of Astaroth.

But really, I just hate all the extras. They sorta ruin that whole 'in-game' feeling. It'd be like adding Ryu to Guilty Gear *shudder*

I mean, I guess they're sorta fun to use. But it's just so obvious that they were not thought out well, meerly cash characters.

Kinda like How they put Akuma, Chun, Ken, and Ryu in Street Fighter III. I really wish they were gone.
