Yah, I used to love Pokémon. The concept of being in a world with all these wierd and wonderful creatures REALLY appealed to me, and still does.
It soon got out of hand though and just turned into a big money-making monster =/
Like I say, used to be a big fan, and indeed, watched the anime, played the games, played the TCG etc. etc...thankfully I'm older and wiser now and the only bit if it I can honestly say was great were the games, though I did like the TCG a lot, and not just purely for collecting the pretty cards...sadly no one else was a serious player
I still play the games today actually. Indeed the originals (Red & Blue) were the best, though I didn't mind later versions...but with later versions came more monsters. I liked some of the Gold & Silver ones, but yeah, stupid ones like Igglybuff and Pichu were beginning to appear...then with Sapphire & Ruby (which I've only just played really) there was no appeal to me from the monster design at all. They're clearly running out of good ideas, but they just won't stop x.x
