Well, there's a lot I'd want to pick, but you can bet that memories of Super Metroid would be one.

Oooh! Good plan! Except then after I played it I'd like to remember the sense of wonder I had playing it when I was young. Also: You may want to look into Zero Mission. It plays a lot like Super Metroid, but retells the first game, with enough new stuff that it's actually worthwhile. (Especiall if you never beat the first one)
