Halo and Halo 2 got amazing review scores for a game that fell under the radar. Halo and Halo 2 is almost as underrated as Ninja Gaiden. I can't believe most of you guys fail to see the beauty of Halo and Halo 2. They brought more innovation to the FPS genre than any other game. Dual wielding is one of those marvelous feats, now I know other games have done that before, but they really perfected it with Halo 2.

Halo 1 also made vehicles fun in a FPS. Master Chief is the most original character I have ever seen. I got goose-bumps when he said "give me a weapon" in Halo 2.

....

Halo and Halo 2 got amazing review scores for a game that was overrated.  Halo and Halo 2 brought noinnovation to the FPS genre besides having aiming reticules the size of Jupiter for machine guns.  Dual wielding is far from perfected in Halo 2.  Master Chief is the most unoriginal character in the history of the entire universe.

I mean, I have yet for someone to prove me wrong:  Master Chief is really a girl with a deep voice.

Dual wielding? Ha! Unreal Tournament did that with the twin Enforcers before Halo came out. (personally, I thought Unreal Tournament brought more originality than Halo did. (What was the previous big FPS before Unreal/unreal tournament? Oh? Is it Doom? I think so! [though I don't know.])
Heck, Descent has way more originality than Halo. WAY more. Not only for being the first GOOD 3D game (I was wrong about it being the very first, Elite came out before 1990 and ti's fully 3D)

But, enough of my rampaging rememincing fantasies.

I don't like any FPS's besides Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.  Timesplitters was allright, although I only played TS 2.  I have Halo, it's....ok.  Yes, it is VERY, VERY overrated.  It's not HORRIBLE, it just ain't good, XD.

I highly recommend you play TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.  The story mode kicks ass at the very least.

Also, TSFP music rules :)

Halo is overrated, this is true. I got bored with it in less then an hour for Halo1, and Halo 2 kept my interest for only alittle longer then that.

It was too damn boring. It wasn't innovative, it was no were NEAR perfect.

It's just plain overrated.

Yeah, I much preferred Unreal Tournament. (mainly because I really prefer a mouse for an FPS that an analog stick.)

Story Time!!!

4th grade cristmass morning (i got clothes) well after that where were 3 "no-name" boxs my all three of us (myself, trevor, chris) opened them. They were [1] laptop [2] playstation [3] N64. Trevor nearly shouted i got laptop grabed it and ran into his room. chris grabed the n64 and walked off i got the playstation. I didn't even open it till later that year. still to this date i have 3 games i rented the other AC M.O.A, Bloody roar2-1 double pack, and Which trials i now have a ps2 the biggest TV in the house. Trev has an Xbox and chis ironicly has an Game. I have some about 550$ in video games but i let trevor buy my games. Some of them suck, but i loved kingdom hearts but havn't beeten it.

Well anyways on halo2 "killzone" is much more fun music, action, People in every way it's better and the guns look cooler. So i might hate halo because i'm playstation or MAYBE BECAUSE HE HAS SOME STRANGE NEED TO TURN UP THE MIC, and halo is full of imature people that seem to have to prove them selfs when the ranks. MY bro's friends and him get into fight over this game. Ask your self what makes them argue with eachother, and people they don't know? Halo to me is a kids game played by people that act their shoe size? Aliens psh aliens suck. policical party uprising after them being almost killed but them they adapted, is just so much cooler

It's so nice when...
-You can't bunny hop
-You can't hear little kids cussing in high-pitched voices, pretending to be mature
-The focus is on shooting, not vehicle wars

That's what a real FPS should be... and thus, Halo doesn't fall under the genre

It's funny as heck when he goes morrigan play it with me online it's alot more fun. I crack up because he's  friends when like 5 year olds and 20 year olds and i don't like playing. And i've only played with one other girl ever and we both hated it. She was forced to play aswell but by her husband.*chills*

Eeh, Halo's fun but it's not at all innovative or underrated.
Soon to be a major motion picture!

It's brain washing and i have proof: turn on xbox, open CD tray leave it open, and turn up the VOL on your tv, don't tough it for 5 mins and listen. Xbox has hidden messages!

Try playing the cd backwards, like they used to do with records in the 70's, to listen for subliminal messaging.
