Nintendo Revolution
-Disc drive plays 12cm Revolution discs and 3in GameCube discs
-Smallest console
-Wireless controllers for Revolution (has four controller ports for GameCube controllers)
-Nintendo WiFi, free of charge and "better than Xbox Live", and WiFi ready out of the box
-Ability to download Nintendo first-party games from NES, SNES, and N64 free of charge; third-party games from NES, SNES, and N64 can be downloaded for a fee determined by the third-party
-Graphics by ATI, processor by IBM, includes 2 USB 2.0 ports
-Has the support of at least three major third-party developers, which include Square Enix and NamcoBandai
-Launch title will include Super Smash Brothers Revolution

Microsoft Xbox 360
-Can play both Xbox and Xbox 360 games according to MS
-Xbox Live (not free)
-Xbox 360 controllers are the same as Xbox S controllers, minus the black and white buttons
-Graphics by ATI
-Launch title will include Perfect Dark Zero

Sony PlayStation 3
-Cell processing
-Can play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games according to Sony
-Has no PS1/PS2 memory card slot (wtf?)
-Supports seven controllers through wireless Bluetooth
-Graphics by nVidia, 6 USB 2.0 ports
-Developers are assuming they can make PS3 games as good as pre-rendered movies shown at E3 (but they didn't say they were pre-rendered until after they were accused...)
-Has the support of Factor 5 in addition to many Japanese developers
-Most expensive and bulkiest next-gen console
-No known launch titles (that would interest anyone, at least

revolution, of course. i never buy any microsoft product, and i never did buy a ps2.

I'm getting 360 first (it comes out Holiday 2005, before Rev. and PS3). Then Revolution, then finally PS3 (Yes, I'm getting all 3 >.>). But I'm looking forward to Revolution the most.

You tell 'em Lacus!! GO PS3!! My ps2 has the hard drive(was required for FFXI) ,and i don't need memory cards so probally has built in memory or ummm well meow meow meow meow. get it?

Guess what? The slim PS2 doesn't support the hard drive, so Square Enix is throwing a fit at Sony. The PS3 has no memory card slot for PS1/PS2 memory cards, so how do you think you're getting your saves to the PS3? The PS3 isn't even confirmed to have a hard drive yet, and although it's very, very likely to, there are rumors it's not having one....

Yes, I want this system for the absurdly awesome game that Nintendo is known for. I may get a 360, but probably not. I doubt I'll ever get a PS3 as the controller looks crappy, and I've never held much of a spot for Playstation on my TV stand.

I'm sure Sony'll fix the memory card issue. That just doesn't make sense not being able to save/load your PSX and PS2 games.

PS3 no doubt. I've never played on Xbox or Gamecube, or any other platform really for that matter, and the games released on them have never made me wish "I want one of those!" and I doubt they ever will.
Playstation has always been "the one" for me, right from the PSX. Besides, Devil May Cry 4's release is going to be for PS3 - can't afford to miss it

Hopefully they will fix that...people will want to be able to still play old games on the PS3, and it would be a big black mark in the naughty book if Sony didn't give us a slot for PS1/PS2 memory cards. I'm sure some people would be put off buying the PS3 it if didn't give us a slot for older memory cards, and I doubt Sony would want to lose the money and have many dissapointed potential buyers.
The PS3 isn't even released yet and must be still in the works with many tweaks being made (though don't ask me, I don't keep up to date with all the news x.x) - we can't make any assumptions yet

Besides, they'd better stick one in or they'll have all hell to pay from me :twisted: If it looks like they're not going to, I'll start a petition to get them to include a slot for the old memory cards!
