I don't see what's so bad about PSP. It seems whenever I talk about portables with someone, they tend to horribly badmouth the other side.

I think they're both pretty cool, but could care less at the moment.

The PSP is a good system, but the commercials looked like drugged 2-year olds attempting to join a lint preservation society

It's because the PSP games suck. It has like...Lumines. A DS + MP3 Player(or a Play Yan) + Portable DVD player all cost less than a PSP + 1 gig memory stick.
Plus The GP2X, while less heard of, is a hell of a lot cheaper and can do everything a PSP can do, except play PSP games.

And then there's the DS, which has slowly begun to outsell the PSP over here.

Even though it's beating the pants off of PSP everywhere else.

Yeah, like in Japan... hahaha, it outsold PSP nearly 2:1, and there were two weeks in there where you couldn't even get a DS because of shortages!

I have learned from experience, too, and I like the PSP. The DS I am not a big fan of, but when it comes to commercials, PSP cannot use a brain correctly it seems.
