I am very, very dissapointed.  Capcom, you are DAMN lucky you put the PSX version of X3 in here.  Had you not, I wouldn't be paying for this thing.

No, it's not lazy at all, which surprised the living hell out of me.  What he's being is a louse cheapskate.

They DID redub the voices for X4
They DID fix the script for X6 AND dub new voices for it.
They DID put Maverick Hunter X's soundtrack in X1
They DID make new remixes for X2's soundtrack

But did they put them in?

No

What a fucking bastard.  So Sony bought out the creator of Mega Man so we would HAVE to buy a PSP to enjoy all this work that SHOULD have been in X Collection?  And there are NO REMIXES?  SIGN ME UP TO BUY A BETA COPY OFF OF IGN, RIGHT NOW!
agerly anticipating:
Super Smash Bros. Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and last but not least, DDR SuperNOVA!

So what happens when Maverick Hunter X FLOPS IN SALES and Capcom doesn't let him create Maverick Hunter X2?  Hmm?  I guess Capcom just said screw the gamers yet again!  They're seriously going to die this generation....

Actually, it's Capcom of America's fault more than Inafune-san's.  Seeing as the game is most likely a US-exclusive title (I think the original Anniversary Collection was US-exclusive).  Also, it was developed and put together by an in-house CoA developing team, not Inafune-san himself.

Or, so I hear.

Either way, Capcom *promised* these special features and *did not* put them in.

Capcom...

That's exactly what I was thinking, too.  I HIGHLY doubt MHX will sell well in the US.  Most people who own PSP will think they are too mature for a game like Mega Man.  Many people in my school own PSPs because they think the DS has too many "kiddy games".  Remaking them for PS2 would have been a better idea, now that I think of it.

But...god, I can't even put it into words how dissapointed and angry I am at Keiji Inafune for that decision.  All those delays, and for nothing.

Oh yeah, and if Sony DID buy out the creator of Rockman/MegaMan, The X Collection would've been (A) PS2-exclusive, and (B) All the special features would be on the PS2 version.  The PS2 and GCN versions are identical in every crappy way.

*ZOMGEDIT*

Dammit, Superyoshi, did you NOT read ANY of CJ's post?!  It's CAPCOM OF AMERICA'S fault, NOT Keiji Inafune's!!!

See, there's one thing you don't understand, CJ.

Capcom of USA DID do all those things they promised.  Inafune wanted them out so he could make more money on Maverick Hunter X and its so called sequels which aren't even in production yet.  Nor do I  believe that they will ever be made, personally.

Except that X2's sound quality is shit from what I hear, and PS2's loading times are actually less than GC's from what I hear, and from what I can see PS2's controller is clearly superior than GC's for playing Mega Man X.  Capcom really fucked us over this time.  Atomic Planet would have done a better job than the naked stripped product we received from Capcom Studio 1.

Aaaaaaaand...is there proof of this?  I haven't seen ANY of this on any single one of the dedicated fansites (i.e. Atomic Fire, MegaMan Network, Rockman Perfect Memories).  What the hell did I miss?

*ZOMGEDIT*

...never mind.  Seriously, Capcom must hate the GameCube or something.  I'd say Nintendo as a whole, but there's still the EXE and Zero series...

Yeah, I heard the same, too.  (Well, we do both go to the GameFAQs boards, heh, even though you're in the GCN board more and I'm in the PS2 board more)

I've honestly never been more dissapointed in a game in my life.  I've been waiting...I think about half a year for this game.

Once again, I'll just say that I'm only thankful for Capcom putting in the PSX version of X3, with its superior music than the SNES version (of course, in my opinion.  Many people think otherwise)
