CJ and Monkeydog get bonus points for having FMA somewhere on their desktops. An Ipod folder for them, and the desktop itself, respectively.

No they don't! iPods are lame! And why watch anime when you could watch real cartoons?! And what's with this advocating desktop clutter? And why am I starting sentances off with conjunctions?!

...because...I hate a lot of cartoons(and the ones I like, such as Invader Zim, I own), and I love anime.(which at the moment is Air, Negima, and FMA)

Plus, my desktop is not cluttered...to badly.

I present to you that North American cartoons are just completely done better. Even those meant to emulate the anime style are just better. Don't get me wrong, anime is cool, so is pirating, and when you combine the two and keep the artists starving and the animation limited, hey, that's even better, but I'll take Thundercats over your tripe anyday.
Soon to be a major motion picture!

American Cartoons usually have no story at all. It's just another short adventure every other week, which does get boring, and repetitive. Anime has a start and a finish, it doesn't get "canceled". Each episode leads to it's climax, and then I never have to hear about it again. Only on rare occasions does an anime NOT end. One would be Detective Conan, but I enjoy it because each episode is a short little mysetery episode. Same goes with Lupin the Third(although, I'm not to fond of it, and it isn't a mystery)
Most american cartoons are aimed towards kids, more often than not, and are ment to be somewhat humorous. Aniem is sometimes aimed at an older audience. A lot being because of the story attribute that anime has.

Almost no american cartoon emulates this, and if it does...not with a story as well done as a show like Air or Cowboy Bebop.

and fail.
Few american cartoons, that aren't a movie, have strong storylines. Ecspecially when compared to some anime...

Time to clear a few things up:

1) What is the DS / GBA thinger in my desktop?  It's the program for my Action Replay MAX DUO.

2) I don't actually own an iPod (I own a Sony MD player), that's just what the folder says 'cause it's a torrent download.

3) Just because many of TODAY'S American cartoons suck doesn't mean PAST American cartoons sucked.

EG. Gargoyles, Beavis and Butt-Head, Spider-Man, Darkwing Duck, ReBoot, DuckTales, Sonic SatAM, Batman: The Animated Series, Beast Wars Transformers, The Muppet Show...

...wait, skip that last one.

Hahaha, that old Sonic show was the worst! Granted, that's what made it cool, but you have to admit, it was pretty lame.

Indeed.  Primarily because Sonic was voiced by Urkel, and also for when you compare it to Sonic X.
