I have a stupid Idea, just hear me out:
We've gone to the moderators and administrator of TPH for a lot lately, but seperately, we don't wield much authority. We have almost no power as members only, and it seems that the mods and admin won't listen to us without more support. Therefore, I propose having a council of three to represent the members of TPH. With the council of Three, they would be able to go to the admin or any mod and be able to speak for all the members. We would hear all complaints and ideas, discuss them amongst ourselves, and, if we feel it's worthy of mod or admin attention, we propose the idea to the forum management. And, as members ourselves, we would wield more power than just going as we are now.
The above poll will run until Fri. On Tue., I will review the results, and in the "About TPH" forum, I will start the nominations and vote tallying. People will be elected by vote to a lifetime appointment, or until you decide to resign.
Rules:
1) You must have a post count of 500 or more.
2) You must have been a member for six months or more.
3) You cannot nominate more than one person.
4) Once you make a nomination, you cannot change your mind, unless it's yourself you nominated.
5) All campaigning is to be done in the designated thread ONLY! There will be no mention of it in other threads or forums.
6) NO SPAMMING IN THE CAMPAIGN THREAD!
I will listen to your comments and poll votes before I move any further. Also, there will be NO NOMINATIONS until I have reviewed the poll results. I think this could really help this board out, and we could have some real fun with this. So sound off! Waddaya think?
