O.o;; the only reason i am going to agree with the sephiroth statement is the fact that he did suck, and no, in knowing that he wasnt an ancient wouldnt you be kinda pissed to? he did have jenovas blood and in case you didnt watch the video in the snow town jenova was the leader of the ancients. so sephiroth was immortal (or at least powerful enough to destroy the world like a sadistic bastard and hope for the best)
However the folly of calling sephiroth the main villian is one many make. and is normally what made the game boring. (I only liked the game because there was a few sparks in the story.. even if it ended as one big cheesy story that thus after led to my dislike for final fantasys easy games and childish stories that had maybe one of 2 sparks)
To conclude in a near different subject, if your in the game for challenge and depth, find yourself something with either stratagy rp or a harder rpg then ff. If your in it for the story, forget all tv video games or movies and get a book.
And if you want a hard rpg AND story go play a text and dice rpg (eg, Dungions and dragons, travaler, ect. ect.) that allows you to write the story of the charactors you control, gives them endless possibilitys, and can be as easy or hard as you want. all else needed you can make yourself with a little work, and who knows maybe your little creation can earn a few bucks
overall (this is the real conclusion, i swear) dont complain that games arnt what they used to be, either live with it, ignore it, or fix it yourself.
