I don't know how many of you follow the WWE, but Eddie Guerrero, one of the greatest luchador wrestlers to ever set foot in the ring, and the first luchador World Champion of any kind ever, passed on Sun. night. I just found out when I got home last night. I don't follow the WWE as much as my brother does, but I would never miss an Eddie match. He was my favorite of all the current crop, and now he's gone. This was one of the first times I've ever cried for someone I've never met, but he always entertained me to the point that he could elicit an emotional response just by being on-screen. He was a man who gave his all to entertain his fans, even participating in an Iraq show that the WWE performs yearly to entertain the troops there. He was always humble, and lived for his fans.
I am going to miss him. He may have lied, cheated, and stole, but at least he was honest about it. Well Eddie, you stole my heart, but you couldn't cheat death. So here's to you. One more time, for old-time's sake:
VIVA MI RAZA! VIVA EDDIE GUERRERO!
