Y'know, I used to retreat to the internet to get away from humanity, which lately has been flippin' me the batchin' bird again. I'd surf the game sites, read my comix online, download music from here, just to get away from the life that seems to have forsaken me.
But since I re-discovered TPH Forums, I have been made to feel as if I belong. It's like I've found the highly dysfunctional family I've been searching for. Here, I can be me. Granted, this place IS the special-ed gym class of the internet, and most of you ARE kids, but MOST (can't stress THAT part enough) here have shown a maturity that belies their age. Yes, I even include MegakevinEXE in that list, for 13, he's pretty cool.
Listening to you guys and dolls, helping out where I can, and just in general having a corner of the 'Net to retreat to has given me back some of the Ol' Byte Man charm! With VERY few exceptions (You know who you are), I owe a great big "ATTABOY/GIRL!" to you all, and remember, that's my highest praise.
...Especially Protoman, who put us all together. May you rock forever.
