UPDATE [2005.04.11]
« on: April 11, 2005, 12:00:42 am »
this girl tryina trip and i ain't havin that

SURPRISE!!!

Just when you thought it was safe to put away your MP3-player ...

Enter bmf54123: the ROM-hacker - his discovery of a lost Sound Test menu in Mega Man 7 (as seen in my avatar) shocked and thrilled me - for the very first time, MM7's music could be heard without sound effects and without being a slave to story scenes. Our very own TPH Forum-Mod Bladegash brought us the rest of the way by converting the ROM modification to the Game Genie code:

D0D4-8DDF
(Try it out yourself on your copy of Mega Man 7, and also visit bmf54123's site while you're at it!)

I am therefore extremely proud to introduce to you today the only complete, original copy of Mega Man 7's music in the world ... right here on TPH! Enjoy!!

and ...

Not to be outdone by its prequel ... Mega Man 8 is also premiering today as a rerecorded, remastered and otherwise rejuvenated soundtrack! Complete with fadeouts and out-of-this-world quality, Mega Man 8 (Saturn version) is available right now ... well, you know the drill! Enjoy!!

Until next time ...
- Protoman

If you keep up work like this, more and more people will come, expanding our music horizons even more. This is truely a remarkable site, and it keeps getting better everyday

It truly is a great site. I truly think it's very good to the cyberspace world (or as my brother calls it, nerdopia)

I appreciate this update, I really do...but didn't you used to also have the PSX Tengu Man theme for MM8?  I'd swear I got it from here once on another computer, and I can't find it anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure the entire Mega Man 8 game is sequenced on the PS synth.  At least, the official PSF release list has the complete Mega Man 8 PSX soundtrack...
agerly anticipating:
Super Smash Bros. Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and last but not least, DDR SuperNOVA!
