Title: shadow being a main character in his own game?
Post by: darkryu on July 14, 2005, 08:59:26 pm: it's true sonic adventure 2 shadow is being released in his own game. and check this out, this time he is carrying his own gun.I belive it's a 9mm.

Yes, I've known of "Shadow the Hedgehog" for a few months now. And yes, he gets GUNS. LOTS AND LOTS of GUNS. Including bazooka's and such.

Reasons for why I am not buying this.

1. Shadow is dead, isn't he? Wasn't the one in Heroes a clone? (Never played Heroes)

2. A gun....no explanation needed.

3. Sonic Adventure 1 was bad, 2 was worse. This is supposedley 3, so only God knows how horrible this is gonna be.

Mario in 3D works
Sonic doesn't

End...of...story.

And I thought flying around in a HUGE valley with Knuckles kinda fun.

But yes, Mario was better in 3D (excluding Sunshine)

But, so many games were better int he good ol days. (glad the new GUNSTAR HEROES wasn't 3D.)

And think Herb. If SSB Revolution was in full 3D with rotating camera and stuff, imagine how freaking difficult it would be to control 4 players.

but if the camera was fixed, characters' move lists would get smaller

maybe it could be two 2D fighting arenas placed parallel and players could be hit into the foreground arena or the background arena

Yeah! Shadow does not need a gun! He's got that awesome Chaos Spear thing going! Besides, what more wrong than a hedgehog with a gun!?... Lots of things, but you got my point. Shadow+Guns=SYNTAX ERROR

Heroes sucked. Horribly... It didn't really make sense with Shadow. No one really knows if that Shadow was a clone, a robot or whatever... Confusing, no?

Post by: Peaches on July 20, 2005, 04:20:19 pm: To be honest, they should have stopped making games at Sonic Advnture. The GBA games are the only good things to come out for a while; shadow is just lame I won't have anything to do with him.
