All I can say, is to check everything again, there should be a system restore option in the control panel, and it would restore any "harmful changes" that might have been done to your computer. And if that doesn't fix it, you can always put it back to normal. if your using Windows that is. Otherwise I don't know.

You probably need to update your video card driver. Go to the manufacturer's website.

Post by: Lazlo Falconi on July 07, 2005, 09:34:14 pm: Ok, find your "My Computer" icon, and then right click it, then click properties. The window that pops up should say what version of windows you're using. If it's not NT or XP, then those don't have restore points.

My laptop is taken VERY good care of, and I'm making it last. (I love the 6+ hour battery life.) And my dos computer, my one of two babies, is kept in the utmost of shape, with Norton Commander and advanced DOShell and everything to make it work wonders. (It has windows, but I don't use it for anything other than automatic XMS and EMS memory, and easier sound card drivers set up. I don't use it for nothing other than that.)

I still have my brothers old comp (three foot tall tower on that thing, loud as hell), my apple II G (I should send you it, Lazlo!), my newer win 98 SE comp (great for Descent that thing) my bbaby DOS comp, and my laptop. (I have way too many computers... Glad I have a huge room in the absement)
