Title: Richard Pryor is dead.
Post by: Yaminomalex on December 11, 2005, 10:49:39 am: This is truly a sad day for any fan of comedy, no matter where your comedic tastes lie. Richard Pryor, arguably the greatest stand-up comedian of all time, died this morning at a hospital near Los Angeles. The reported cause of death was a heart attack--isn't it always?--but Pryor had already been battling multiple sclerosis for many years. Apparently he lit himself on fire whilst doing coke-related activites. That's gotta be interesting.

To those that knew him, he sounded like a good person with a wonderful sense of humour. Wish I'd have seen some of his stuff.
